WoW machinima as a form of satirical protest!?

Reporting from the Tudou film festival awards, Frank  Yu tweets about the winner: A 64-minute, World of Warcraft machinima that satirizes internet addiction, internet censorship and the recent governmental-commercial spat over the WoW license renewal.

In other words, it’s a mild form of protest.
