EBusiness World posts an article from a Nanjing paper on how increasing numbers of Chinese college students are starting their own online businesses. The case in point: a recent college grad with a full-time job who loves fashion and shoes. She started a shoe website and now pulls in RMB 5000 (about US $625) a month–more than her salary. She hasn’t quit her day job yet. And she has a dayjob, unlike many other graduates.
I wonder, given China’s tough, tough job market for college graduates, how many are turning to the web for employment?
